Jammu, Aug. 20 -- A delegation of heads of departments, faculty members and office-bearers of the University of Jammu, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof Umesh Rai, on Wednesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed issues related to the institution's growth, development and future academic expansion.

During the meeting, the delegation thanked the Lieutenant Governor, who is also the Chancellor of the University, for facilitating the transfer of 147 kanals and 11 marlas of land from Defence authorities to the university.
