KISHTWAR, Aug. 18 -- Health and Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare Minister Sakeena Itoo on Tuesday visited Chatroo subdivision in Kishtwar district, where she inaugurated and reviewed several education and healthcare projects and announced upgrades to health facilities in the area.
During the visit, the minister laid the foundation stone for the remodelling of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Chatroo at an estimated cost of Rs.13.27 crore. She also inaugurated the New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at Inderwal and inspected the ongoing construction work of Government Degree College (GDC) Chatroo, for which Rs.10.62 crore has been sanctioned.
