New Delhi, March 26 -- Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP and MP (Rajya Sabha), spoke in strong support of the Appropriation Bill-II, 2026 in the Rajya Sabha, emphasising that the legislation empowers the government to effectively allocate and utilize financial resources for national development.

Speaking during the debate, Sat Sharma stated that the bill reflects the government's commitment to fiscal discipline and robust economic management, with total expenditure reaching Rupees 357.14 lakh crore and India maintaining a strong foreign exchange reserve of approximately 686 billion dollars. He termed this as a decisive step towards achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
