Shopian, April 27 -- Continuing its intensified campaign against the drug menace, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday destroyed illegal poppy cultivation in multiple areas of Shopian district and registered three separate cases.

The campaign was carried out under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan, following specific inputs received through the Beat Incharge. Police teams from Police Station Shopian, accompanied by an Executive Magistrate, conducted raids in Zawoora, Gugloora Pinjoora and Mirpora Pinjoora.
