Jammu, Sept. 3 -- Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Tejinder Singh, led a foot patrol of security personnel here on Wednesday and reviewed the law and order situation, officials said.

Singh was accompanied by Deputy Inspector General Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu and SP North Jammu, the officials said.

Singh took over as the Jammu Zone IGP following a major reshuffle in the top police leadership last month.

During the patrolling, the officers interacted with residents and shopkeepers and took feedback on public safety and security concerns, they said.
