How societies grow in strength and wisdom
Srinagar, Aug. 14 -- Every individual thinks differently because of their unique experiences, education, environment, and observations. This diversity is not only the beauty of human society but also its intellectual strength. If everyone in the world thought alike, held identical viewpoints, and agreed on every issue, there would have been no scientific discoveries, no intellectual revolutions, no great works of literature or philosophy, and no meaningful social progress. Freedom of opinion, therefore, is not merely a fundamental human right; it is an essential requirement for a civilized and progressive society. It reflects intellectual freedom, critical thinking, and collective wisdom, without which no society can truly flourish.
