Srinagar, June 7 -- Jammu and Kashmir is expected to witness generally hot and dry weather conditions till June 10, although brief afternoon showers at a few places cannot be ruled out, according to the latest weather forecast.

The Meteorological Department has predicted isolated light rain and thundershowers across parts of the Union Territory over the next four days, with no major weather disturbances expected during this period.

Weather observers said daytime temperatures are likely to remain above normal in several areas, particularly in the Jammu region, while the Kashmir Valley is also expected to experience relatively warm conditions.

A change in weather is, however, expected from June 11 onwards.
