SRINAGAR, Oct. 11 -- The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered the compulsory retirement of Mahmud Anwar Alnasir, Civil Judge (Senior Division), presently posted as Sub-Judge Uri, at the age of 58.

According to an order issued by the Registrar General's office, the decision follows a recommendation made by the Full Court at a recent meeting.

The order states that Alnasir will remain attached to the office of the Registrar Judicial, Srinagar, until the competent authority sanctions his compulsory retirement.

Meanwhile, the Sub-Judge/Special Mobile Magistrate, Baramulla, has been assigned the additional charge of Sub-Judge Uri until further orders.
