Srinagar, June 10 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has constituted a five-member committee to investigate the technical malfunction reported in the Gulmarg Gondola system on May 25, directing a comprehensive examination of the circumstances that led to the incident.

According to Government Order No. 1065-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated June 10, sanction has been accorded to the formation of the committee to inquire into the events surrounding the malfunction of the cable car system at Gulmarg.
