Srinagar, May 13 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited 'Vibrant Village', Uran Bowa in Baramulla, reviewed ongoing schemes and addressed a public gathering, an official press release informed.
The LG said, "under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, border villages' distance from Delhi has reduced. They are connected to the mainstream of development and it is the commitment of the Government of India to ensure that border villages become symbols of inclusive development."
"The people of our border villages, especially farmers, youth and women shoulder an extraordinary responsibility in serving the nation," Sinha said.
