Srinagar, May 17 -- Gandhi Memorial College Srinagar on Saturday organised its Annual Cycle Race for Boys-2026 under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students.
The race, organised by the college's Physical Education Department, started from Nehru Park and concluded at Shalimar Garden.
Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar City Aijaz Ahmad Bhat flagged off the event in the presence of Principal Masood Ahmad Malik, faculty members, officials and students.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP highlighted the growing threat of drug abuse among youth and stressed the importance of sports and physical activities in promoting healthy and constructive engagement among students.
