Jammu, Aug. 13 -- A 'Gen-Z tiranga rally' was organised in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua on Wednesday ahead of the Independence Day, with hundreds of students carrying the tricolour in a long, serpentine procession and raising patriotic slogans.

The rally witnessed participation of gen-Z students, families of martyrs, sports clubs and fitness groups, who marched through the town carrying a giant tricolour.

Organiser Ranjit Pathania said the rally was aimed at bringing the youth onto the streets to honour the national flag and pay tribute to martyrs.
