Pulwama, March 12 -- Government Degree College (GDC) Pulwama on Thursday organised a series of extension lectures under the aegis of the DBT STAR College Scheme at the college auditorium.
The programme began with welcome and opening remarks by the Principal, Dr Bashir Ahmad Sheikh, who highlighted the importance of such academic interactions alongside regular classroom teaching.
The first lecture was delivered by Prof Kowsar Majid from NIT Srinagar on the topic "Scientific Temper, Ethics and Responsibility in the Modern World." In his address, he emphasised the importance of scientific thinking, ethical conduct and responsible behaviour towards the environment.
