Srinagar, Sept. 30 -- The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has been described as one of the most important educational reforms in India's history that reshape system of education by making it more inclusive, flexible, multidisciplinary, and globally competitive. In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the NEP 2020 presents a significant opportunity to improve the quality of higher education while aligning academic programmes with the changing needs and demands of twenty-first century. As colleges and universities begin implementing this new framework, an important question emerges: has NEP 2020 truly begun transforming higher education in Jammu and Kashmir, or is the transformation still a work in progress?
