India, Oct. 10 -- The Food Safety Department Srinagar seized five quintals of Namkeen snacks and sealed an unlicensed manufacturing unit during an inspection drive at Abhanshah, HMT Srinagar.

Reports reaching the Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the inspection team, led by the Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Srinagar, found the unit operating under unhygienic conditions and without a valid license. The seized stock included various Namkeen items such as katlam and finni.
