FIR filed over alleged fake court decrees in Baramulla; two judicial employees held
BARAMULLA, July 13 -- Police have registered an FIR in Baramulla over the alleged fabrication of court decrees and certified judicial documents purportedly used to facilitate the illegal transfer of Custodian property, with two judicial employees taken into custody, officials said.
According to police, FIR No. 99/2026 has been registered at Police Station Baramulla under various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on a complaint filed by Sub-Judge (Judicial Magistrate) Baramulla Majid Farooq Mir.
The complaint followed a fact-finding inquiry into the alleged preparation and issuance of forged certified copies of a judgment and decree in a civil suit that, according to the complaint, did not exist.
