Srinagar, Oct. 29 -- Representatives of Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Services employees' associations on Thursday called on Finance Minister Javid Ahmad Dar and congratulated him on assuming charge of the Finance Department.

During the meeting, the representatives expressed hope that his leadership would strengthen financial management, improve administrative efficiency and promote transparency and accountability in the department.

They also expressed confidence that the department would continue to contribute to the government's financial and developmental priorities and support economic progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
