SRINAGAR, Sept. 14 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch, Kashmir, has filed a chargesheet against a man accused of allegedly defrauding people by promising government jobs and providing forged appointment orders.

According to officials, the chargesheet was filed before the Court of the Forest Magistrate, Srinagar, in FIR No. 12/2026 registered under Sections 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Abdul Majeed Mir of Lishtiyal, Kalaroos, in Kupwara district.
