EC colluding with BJP in J&K to distort people's mandate, alleges CM Omar Abdullah
Srinagar/New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday alleged that the Election Commission is colluding with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to distort the people's mandate in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to reporters in New Delhi, CM Omar, according to the news agency KNO, questioned the delimitation exercise that led to the addition of seven Assembly seats in the Union Territory.
"Why was delimitation carried out in our case (J&K)? Wasn't it done solely to benefit the BJP? Seven seats were added. How many of those seven seats did the BJP win? Six.
