Udhampur, June 24 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Wednesday conducted a public outreach and grievance redressal camp at Government Higher Secondary School, Majalta, where residents raised a range of civic and developmental issues, including healthcare, road connectivity, drinking water supply and housing benefits.
Former Panchayati Raj Institution representatives and local residents demanded the establishment of a trauma centre at Manwal, augmentation of drinking water facilities, construction and upgradation of roads, construction of the Manwal-Pingla Mata road, inclusion of left-out beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), and resolution of issues concerning tribal communities.
