SRINAGAR, Aug. 11 -- Police on Monday attached property worth around Rs 4 crore belonging to an alleged drug peddler in Budgam district, arrested a man accused of attempting to implicate another person in a false narcotics case and apprehended three persons in separate drug trafficking cases in Baramulla and Sopore.

A police spokesperson said Srinagar Police attached an immovable property belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Dar of Ichgam, Budgam, under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

The property, attached by Police Station Khanyar in connection with a case registered under Sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act, comprises a two-storeyed residential house with an attic and 31,800 square feet of land at Ichgam. P...
