NEW DELHI, Oct. 5 -- Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Sunday hosted a luncheon interaction for Delhi-based medical alumni from Jammu, many of whom were his former students during his tenure as Professor of Medicine and Diabetes at Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu.

The gathering at the minister's residence brought together doctors and medical professionals now serving in senior clinical, academic and administrative positions across hospitals and healthcare institutions in Delhi-NCR and neighbouring regions.

Recalling his years in academia before entering public life, Dr Singh said it was gratifying to see the professional achievements of his former students and their contributions to the healthcare sector.
