Srinagar, June 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Sunday expressed serious concern over reports that Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir are facing difficulties due to restrictions on baggage allowances and arrangements for transportation of luggage on their return journey.
In a statement, Dr. Farooq said he was deeply disturbed by reports that pilgrims travelling from Jeddah to Srinagar were being subjected to immigration and customs clearance procedures at Ahmedabad and were being informed that their luggage would be transported separately by road from Ahmedabad to Srinagar.
