Jammu, Aug. 13 -- Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar and Inspector General of Police (Jammu Zone) Bhim Sen Tuti on Thursday reviewed arrangements for the smooth and secure conduct of the Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra, scheduled to commence on August 17 from Bhagwati Nagar base camp.
The meeting discussed the movement plan, security arrangements, traffic regulation, road maintenance and availability of essential services and facilities for pilgrims along the Yatra route.
Senior officers, including Deputy Commissioners of Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi, SSP Jammu, SSP Traffic Jammu, SSP NHW, Director Health Services Jammu and officers from police, traffic and civil departments, attended the meeting in person and virtually.
