SRINAGAR, Sept. 28 -- The Director Agriculture Kashmir, Sartaj Ahmad Shah, today visited Seed Multiplication Farm Padgampora Pulwama, where he reviewed the progress on preparations of stock, supply and distribution of seeds to the farming community.
He visited different sections of the farm and reviewed the various interventions.
Besides, he also visited the lavender farm at Sirhama, where he held an interactive session with the technical experts and concerned officers of the farm.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director highlighted the economic importance of the lavender crop and said that it is one of the best cash crops in the world.
