Jammu, July 7 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Monday conducted surprise inspections of the offices of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC) and Design Inspection and Quality Control (DIQC) in Jammu to review their functioning and assess the progress of developmental works.
The Deputy Chief Minister first visited the PMGSY office at Bikram Chowk, where he reviewed the department's overall functioning and took stock of the status of ongoing road projects. He directed officers to ensure timely completion of works while strictly adhering to prescribed quality standards.
