Srinagar, May 27 -- Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary and several ministers on Tuesday extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, praying for peace, prosperity and communal harmony across the region.
Surinder Choudhary said Eid-ul-Adha holds immense religious and cultural significance for Muslims across the world and is celebrated with great fervour in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the festival symbolises sacrifice, discipline, devotion and complete surrender to the will of Almighty Allah while inspiring values of compassion, generosity and brotherhood.
