SRINAGAR, Dec. 21 -- Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, on Sunday launched the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunisation (IPPI)-2025 programme at Urban Primary Health Centre(UPHC) Batamaloo as part of a campaign to administer polio drops to nearly two lakh children in the age group of 0-5 years in the district.
The programme was organised by the Health Department, during which the Deputy Commissioner administered pulse polio drops to several children and reviewed the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of the immunization drive.
