SRINAGAR, Feb. 10 -- A meeting of the District Level Committee on Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD) was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, here at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office to review the ongoing anti-drug measures and efforts to curb drug abuse and drug trafficking in the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sandeep Chakravarthy was also present in the meeting.
At the outset, the meeting conducted a comprehensive review of inter-agency coordination to combat drug abuse, including identification of drug hotspots, confiscation of vehicles under NDPS and ongoing anti-drug IEC activities, particularly in educational institutions, to sensitise youth about the illicit effects of n...
