Ramban, July 20 -- Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan on Monday inspected restoration work along National Highway-44 and reviewed arrangements for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims accommodated in the district following the temporary suspension of the pilgrimage.
Accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Arun Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak and other officers, the Deputy Commissioner visited the landslide site at Nashri and other vulnerable locations to assess the situation amid intermittent rainfall and the adverse weather advisory.
