Bandipora, July 11 -- Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, on Friday night inspected the Shadipora Transit Camp to review arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2026.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected accommodation, sanitation, drinking water, healthcare, electricity, traffic management, security and other facilities put in place for the pilgrims. She also interacted with pilgrims to obtain feedback on the services being provided.
During the visit, Chib directed the concerned departments to maintain close coordination, ensure prompt response to any requirement and provide uninterrupted essential services throughout the Yatra to facilitate a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage.
