ANANTNAG, July 13 -- Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amod Ashok Nagpure on Sunday separately visited the cloudburst-hit Awoora area in Pahalgam to review the damage, restoration work and overall situation.

The Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Muzamil Maqbool Beig and senior officers of the Public Works, Jal Shakti and Power Development departments, inspected the affected areas and assessed damage to water supply schemes, electricity infrastructure, roads, river embankments, private property and other public assets.
