Srinagar, March 5 -- Day temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir remained several degrees above normal on Wednesday, while no rainfall was recorded in most parts of the Union Territory, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As per the IMD's evening bulletin, Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius, 7.5 degrees above normal, while the minimum settled at 4.2 degrees Celsius, 1.7 degrees above normal.

Qazigund registered a high of 22.0 degrees Celsius, 9.4 degrees above normal, and a low of 2.2 degrees Celsius. Pahalgam recorded a maximum of 18.9 degrees Celsius, 8.9 degrees above normal, while the minimum dipped to minus 0.1 degrees Celsius.
