CS reviews Rs.1,579 crore disaster recovery plan, seeks faster implementation
SRINAGAR, Aug. 17 -- Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Sunday directed departments to expedite implementation of the Rs.1,579.09 crore disaster recovery and reconstruction package approved for Jammu and Kashmir, stressing that all restored infrastructure should be made resilient to future disasters.
Chairing a review meeting of the Recovery and Reconstruction (R&R) Plan-2025, Dulloo assessed the utilisation of funds sanctioned by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF)/State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) Recovery and Reconstruction funding window.
