Srinagar, May 25 -- Atal Dulloo on Monday chaired a meeting of the State Executive Committee (SEC) of the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction to review and approve a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening disaster mitigation, preparedness and response systems across Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Finance, Principal Secretary DMRR&R, Commandant General SDRF, Commissioner Secretary Law, Secretary Revenue and other senior officers.
During the meeting, the SEC approved several important measures to enhance institutional and operational capacity for dealing with natural disasters and emergencies in the Union Territory.
