Srinagar, Oct. 5 -- Compressed Bio-Gas Policy has been placed on record as a framework to reshape energy use and waste management in Jammu and Kashmir. It is a structured plan to convert organic waste into usable fuel and fertiliser. By drawing from cattle dung, apple pomace, municipal solid waste, pine needles and crop residues, the policy sets out a path where discarded material becomes a source of energy, reducing reliance on conventional fuels and cutting pollution at the same time.
