Srinagar, July 29 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today reaffirmed his government's commitment to expanding employment opportunities for the youth, saying that while government jobs alone are not the solution to unemployment, it is the government's responsibility to create more avenues for youth through private sector recruitment, entrepreneurship and industry partnerships.

The chief minister made these remarks while addressing the valedictory session of the 77th State-Level Mega Job Fair at Amar Singh College, Srinagar.
