SRINAGAR, June 21 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch, J&K, has filed a chargesheet in a telecom project fraud case before the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sopore.

The chargesheet has been presented in FIR No. 44/2023 registered under Section 420 IPC against Harkeet Singh, a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

According to officials, the case originated from a written complaint alleging that the accused had induced the complainant to part with money on the promise of providing an AT&T inbound sales call project of a US-based telecom company.
