Budgam, Sept. 22 -- Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan on Tuesday reviewed the implementation of the Green India Mission (GIM) in the district and discussed the proposed GIM Perspective Plan for 2026-2031, under which 53.3 hectares of degraded forest land have been identified for restoration.
The review meeting was attended by Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Budgam Syed Waseem and officials from the Forest, Rural Development, Agriculture, Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) and other departments.
