The smoke of ignorance was hovering the cosmos;

The waywardness was at its peak

the ray of humanity was but bleak;

The dawn came with the "Blessed birth"

The cosmos shone with the "Eternal Truth";

With prayer on his pious lips

"My Ummah" was on his lips;

The slaves got a sigh of relief

The girls did give up the grief.

The weak found the compassionate

Kind he was to the destitute;

The "Truth" triumphed as ever

The falsehood gone for ever;

The Revelation was sent to thee

Rejuvenating the trampled humanity;

Dry the meadows had been

The water turned them into lush green;

The trees bustled with fresh leaves

Their fruits blessed with unique tastes;
