Akhnoor, Oct. 12 -- Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma on Sunday said the party would hold the National Conference-led government accountable for its electoral promises and performance on public issues.

Sharma made the remarks while addressing an organisational meeting of the BJP's Akhnoor district unit, accompanied by MLA Mohan Lal Bhagat. The meeting was chaired by district president Kuldeep Raj Sharma at the party office in Akhnoor.

Sharma alleged that there was a gap between the government's electoral commitments and conditions on the ground, and said the BJP would raise issues affecting people's daily lives and welfare.
