Jammu, July 9 -- Jammu and Kashmir BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma on Thursday said the party would intensify its public outreach campaign and continue to hold the National Conference (NC)-led government accountable over what he described as its failure to fulfil electoral promises.

Sharma made the remarks while chairing a meeting of senior BJP leaders at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to review the organisational and prevailing socio-political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and discuss the party's future strategy.

The meeting was attended by BJP general secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, MLA Sham Lal Sharma, and other senior leaders.
