Bhaderwah, Sept. 6 -- The Bhaderwah administration has issued a public advisory for the safe and smooth conduct of the annual Kailash Yatra, scheduled to be held from September 8 to 10.

Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bhaderwah, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, said the advisory has been issued in view of the challenging terrain and high-altitude conditions associated with the pilgrimage to Kailash Kund, located at an elevation of about 14,500 feet.

Devotees have been advised to undertake the pilgrimage only after ensuring adequate physical fitness and to strictly follow the instructions issued by the Yatra Administration.
