JAMMU, Feb. 18 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today paid high tributes to former Minister Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad Shah and Former MLC Brij Mohan Sharma on their demise.
While reading out the obituary references for the deceased public leaders, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, termed Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad Shah as an able administrator with a distinguished public career, both inside and outside of the Assembly.
He said Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad had many stints as Minister with the former governments headed by former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
