SRINAGAR, Oct. 12 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly's Committee on Subordinate Legislation on Monday expressed concern over delays in finalising recruitment rules for the Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department, stressing that the process should be accorded the highest priority.

Chairman Muzaffar Iqbal Khan chaired a meeting at the Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Srinagar to review progress on framing and finalising the rules and discuss related matters.

The committee was informed by Commissioner Secretary, ARI and Trainings Department, Shabnam Kamili, that the draft recruitment rules were under process and would be finalised after obtaining concurrence from the Finance Department.
