Srinagar, Aug. 11 -- The Committee on Government Assurances of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Monday reviewed the functioning of the Public Works Department (PWD) and Housing and Urban Development Department (HUDD), with members stressing equitable development, transparency and timely execution of projects across the Union Territory.

The meeting, held at the Assembly Complex here, was chaired by committee chairman and MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar. Members Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mir, Iftikhar Ahmad, Waheed-ur-Rehman Para and Shabir Ahmad Kullay attended the meeting.
