Srinagar, June 26 -- A meeting of the Committee on Assurances was held at the Assembly Secretariat, Srinagar, on Thursday under the chairmanship of MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar to review the status of assurances, commitments and promises made by the government on the floor of the House.

MLA Iftkar Ahmad, Waheed ur Rehman Para, Shabir Ahmad Kullay, along with senior officers from the Assembly Secretariat, attended the meeting.

During the deliberations, the Chairman highlighted the important role of the Committee on Assurances in ensuring effective implementation of commitments made by the government during legislative proceedings.
