SRINAGAR, June 21 -- The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, in collaboration with Lakshya Foundation, successfully concluded the six-day cultural and educational outreach initiative, "Mera Desh Meri Pehchaan 2026," held across Uri, Sopore and Baramulla from June 15 to 20.
The programme was conceived as a platform to promote national integration, cultural awareness and meaningful youth engagement by showcasing India's rich and diverse heritage. Through immersive galleries, traditional artefacts, documentary screenings and cultural performances, participants were introduced to the customs, traditions and artistic expressions of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland and West Bengal.
