Srinagar, March 28 -- Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport will be restricted between April and July for carrying out runway works, Airport Authority of India (AAI) said on Friday.

Flight operations at Srinagar Airport will witness a temporary reduction in operational hours from April 6 to July 31 due to scheduled runway maintenance works, even as authorities expect an overall increase in flight movements during the period, sources said.

At present, around 60 flight movements, arrivals and departures combined are currently handled daily at the airport between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
