Srinagar, Aug. 16 -- The Group Centre CRPF Humhama celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour and mass participation.
The celebrations were marked by a series of events that honoured bravery, encouraged citizen participation in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and strengthened the spirit of unity.
This year, 21 bravehearts of the CRPF were honoured with 23 gallantry medals, including 3 prestigious Shaurya Chakras. These awards stand as a shining testament to their valour, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to the motherland.
